Verified 5-Star Ratings
"Identified my oval face shape in 0.3s. The textured crop haircut recommendation was a game changer!"
3D Craniofacial Landmarks
Sub-millimeter triangulation across bizygomatic cheekbone width, bigonial jaw width, and facial thirds.
Sub-Second Execution
Runs in-memory via SIMD-accelerated WebAssembly. No network round-trips, zero latency bottlenecks.
Geometric Face Classifications
Visualising Every Millimetre of Your Facial Structure
Most automated tools rely on primitive bounding boxes that misclassify strong jaws as round. Our browser-based engine tracks 468 discrete 3D spatial points to compute exact anthropometric ratios directly on your screen.
How to Measure Your Face Shape with Tape & Mirror
No camera? Use the classic 4-step Farkas craniofacial formula with a flexible tape measure or ruler.
Forehead Width (Temples)
Measure across the widest arc of your forehead, halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline.
Cheekbone Width (Zygomatic)
Place the tape at the peak prominence of one cheekbone and measure straight across the bridge of the nose to the other peak.
Jawline Width (Gonial Angles)
Measure from the centre tip of your chin up along the jawline to the angle below your ear, then multiply by 2.
Face Length (Trichion to Menton)
Measure from the centre point of your upper hairline straight down the bridge of your nose to the bottom tip of your chin.
Interactive Proportional Calculator
Enter your measurements in inches or centimetres to compute your exact proportions.
Face Shape Comparison Matrix
Compare key anthropometric dimensions across all 7 craniofacial profiles according to Farkas standards.

Most Commonly Confused Face Shapes
How to tell closely matched facial geometries apart with objective biometric criteria.
Oval vs. Oblong
An oval face has an aspect ratio around 1.45–1.55 with soft taper. An oblong face has an aspect ratio exceeding 1.65 with parallel, straight sides and a longer chin-to-forehead drop.
Round vs. Square
Both share an aspect ratio under 1.25. However, round faces have curved, soft jawlines with zero sharp corners, whereas square faces have an unmistakable 90-degree angular jawline.
Heart vs. Triangle
A heart face is top-heavy (wide forehead tapering to a sharp chin, Rtaper > 1.20). A triangle face is inverted: bottom-heavy with a broad jawline tapering up to a narrower forehead (Rtaper < 0.85).
